Excellent spacious room at a conveniently located motel. If you are a Karen, I'm sure you would find something wrong, but for us non Karen type people it was perfect. No frills, no ice, no lobby, no breakfast. A quick phone reservation, drive up to the door and 2 chairs to sit in to relax in a very clean room before going to sleep. It was perfect for the night.
Let me start off by saying this is not hotel, it is a motel. It is very clean, the beds are comfortable with clean sheets, and the shower is hot with good pressure. It's off highway 2 and to be honest, a perfect stop to spend the night at one of the nicer motels I have been in that I am not worried about bed bugs or mold, etc.
It’s a motel not a hotel but it was great. It’s a super small town but the room was clean and easy to get to! Air conditioning was nice and cold and shower was hot. What more do you want!?
This was a nice little stop on our way to the west end of the UP. The rooms were very clean and nicely updated. The check in process was very accommodating. Will definitely be staying here again if we need a place to stay on our travels to the UP
Room was clean, large bathroom, comfy bed. The shower dial was a bit hard to figure out but I got it eventually and the water was nice and hot. Lots of guests hanging outside were very friendly. No lobby so no ice or vending amenities
We checked in after 3pm so they left our key in our room. We never had any contact with the staff. We could hear everyone outside and there were no good channels on the TV to drowned out the noise. The room had been updated recently but they didn't change the carpet.
We got caught in a snowstorm and booked this about 10 minutes prior to arriving. Room was plain, clean, no frills but we weren't looking for any. Nice staff, easy check-in. No ice or vending. Worked well for our needs.
I would definitely stay at the hotel again when I come back up here again. I was so in love with the rooms and how rustic and nice it was.
